Post-Liposuction Compression Garments
Fajas will minimize swelling and bruising. This is done by protecting the incisions and avoiding potential fluid retention. These items will allow you to focus on healing and recovery.
We have carefully selected the world's best range of medical bodysuits, waist trainers, and underwear to assist your body through recovery. Our Post-Operative Girdles have been designed in collaboration with surgeons to address your specific needs after Liposuction.
Post-Liposuction Compression Garments are essential in the recovery process. After all, it helps to reduce swelling and keeps all the targeted areas tucked in. That way your body will receive the best results in your recovery.
What is the difference between STAGE 1, STAGE 2 and STAGE 3 Fajas?
Stage 1 Fajas (Low Compression) need to be worn right after plastic surgery for at least 6 weeks. 2-3 weeks 24/7 and then 3-4 weeks during the day. It should be worn with your lipo foams and abdominal board during the day. At night, you may remove your abdominal board.
Stage 2 Fajas (Medium Compression) wear it after 6 weeks to continue shaping and contouring the body or wear it as a shapewear. It is meant to fit tightly and should be worn alone. Stage 2 Girdles have extra inner compression panels that provide more compression to ensure proper skin retraction and tissue adherence while your body heals.
Stage 3 Fajas ( High Compression) This is the stage of sculpting. Your body must have recovered from at least 90% of the trauma caused by surgery. At this point, you will downsize from previous garments and assist the body in achieving the desired shape.

Why do I need to wear a compression garment?
Before your surgery, you will be told by your surgeon it's compulsory to purchase a Compression Garment which you will need to wear throughout your recovery period. It can often be frustrating, but you will not get the results imminently.
Liposuction removes subcutaneous fat which is located between the skin and muscle. After this occurs, fluid will eventually accumulate in the empty space. Illusion Shapewear’s Post-Surgical Girdles selection will provide pressure to the liposuction targeted area, ensuring the fluid disperses, rather than builds up.
What if I don't wear a compression garment?
The build-up of fluids after liposuction surgery could result in not achieving the full results you were hoping for.

When you’re trying to find the best and most comfortable garment, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Fit:
When you first purchase a compression garment, it should be tight and apply a lot of pressure. If the garment isn’t applying enough pressure, you risk fluid build-up and increased swelling. However, you have to ensure the garment isn’t too tight. If you feel any tingling sensation or the circulation is being cut off, the garment is too tight.
Comfort:
After your liposuction, you will wear the compression garment at all times (except when bathing). Therefore, ensuring that the particular girdle is the one for you is important. While the garment will still need to apply high pressure, you shouldn't be experiencing any discomfort or physical pain.
Fabric:
All of our Liposuction garments are specifically designed for post-surgery care. They are made with skin-friendly, highly resistant, durable and breathable fabrics with extra soft inner lining for maximum comfort.
Washable:
There is a chance that the garment may end up with body fluids on it, which is why all post-liposuction garments should be washed regularly.
